Unless otherwise advised take 1 pillules 2-3 times per day. For acute conditions increase dose to one dose every 2-3 hours up to 6 doses a day.

May help impacted / infected anal glands but if it is a problem of repeated filling then ensure that the diet is addressed and consider additional support with PetCol

How to take them?

The Phytopet pilules/pellets can be given directly into the mouth.  Open the animal’s mouth and drop directly from the cap into the mouth, being careful not to let the mouth touch the lid. These pilules should not be touched as the natural oils on the skin may affect these delicate remedies, but due to their size this is not always possible.

Ideally take these pillules away from food (15 minutes before or after food), especially if it is strong smelling. They can be taken with food but it will affect the potency of the pillule.

Phytopet recommend that if you are struggling to get them into your pets mouth, to dissolve the pilule in 5ml boiled and cooled water (to remove chlorine etc) and once dissolved to pour the mix into the animals mouth. Once the pilule or dissolved pilule touches the mucus membranes it gets straight to work. Alternatively you can drop the pilules / pellets into a teaspoon for your dog to lick off.

  • Shipping with DPD Next Day Courier service at £7.99 [see below for exceptions] (please note this is a next day service, but from time to time this can take 2 days) 
  • Saturday delivery - with DPD £16.99

Orders over £44.99 (and less than 3.5kg) are sent free of charge using Royal Mail 48 Tracked. There is however the option to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 for £1.49 or use a DPD Courier at £4.99

Orders over £130 will be sent with DPD or Royal Mail Tracked 24

Orders over 3.5kg will need to be send with DPD as we are unable to ship heavy items with Royal Mail. DPD will attract an additional shipping charges – see below for more information.

Under normal circumstances, all orders placed before 1.30pm will be dispatched the same working day. Orders placed after 1.30pm will be dispatched on the following working day. Orders placed after 1.30pm on a Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday (or Wednesday for UK special postcodes). This also applies to orders received after 1.30pm on a Thursday.
 
Saturdays, Sundays and all Bank & Public Holidays are classed as non-working days and orders will be dispatched on the next working day.
 
Your order will be fully trackable, and you will receive a text and email (if supplied) when your order has been dispatched, and on the day of delivery you will receive an estimated 1-hour delivery window, with alternative options if you are not in.
 
We reserve the right to switch this service to Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day, in exceptional circumstances.
