Dr Brady’s Yeast Defeat is a multi-pronged approach to controlling yeast overgrowth and maintaining healthy levels of yeast in dogs. There is no other product like it on the market. It works as follows:

  1. Garlic digests the biofilm protecting the yeast at the gut membrane.
  2. Next, cellulase digests the protective outer layer encapsulating the now pathogenic fungi
  3. MCT oil now penetrates the membrane of the yeast, disrupting its function while green olive leaf sets about killing it off.
  4. Bentonite clay is used to adsorb the toxins emitted by the dying yeast which might otherwise sicken the recovering patient (known as a Herx effect).
  5. Sacchromyces boulardii has the dual function of fighting pathogenic yeast species whilst restoring normal qut flora balance, offering longer-term protection from the disease.

Available in two sizes - 100g and 200g.

Directions for Use:

  • It is highly recommended that you introduce this supplement slowly to avoid adverse reactions from sudden yeast die-off, over 2-3 days or 3-6 meals
  • For best results, mix into some broth or whole-fat yoghurt and feed before a meal so that the enzyme works on the yeast present in the gut rather than the food, however mixing this product with your dog's normal food is also fine
  • Dr Brady suggests using this product short term (typically 7-10 days) to manage levels of yeast overgrowth, then stop to let the biome rebalance. The aim is to return the yeast to a healthy level in the body, not to kill every trace of it.

Recommended daily amounts to give:

Small dogs <10kg: 1 scoop

Medium dogs 10-20kg: 2 scoops

Large dogs >20kg: 3 scoops +
