Vince the Vet Remedies are the product of 40 years veterinary experience in clinical practice, where they were developed and successfully used to transform the lives of many thousands of pets.
Founder of Vince the Vet, Dr. Vince MacNally BVSc VetMFHom MRCVS is the UK's leading natural nutrition vet, and the only veterinary surgeon to have formulated and produced a complete, integrated range of natural supplements, remedies and raw food.
After graduating from Liverpool University in 1983, he spent 3 years working as a vet for the PDSA, before setting up his own veterinary practice in Stockport in 1987. Over the next 14 years, this went on to become a multi-disciplinary centre of excellence, providing the highest standard of veterinary treatment and care.
In the mid nineteen nineties, frustrated by the limits of conventional veterinary medicine - especially with regards to the treatment of skin and bowel problems, kidney disease, cancer and other chronic conditions, he studied and put to the test many systems of complementary health care around the world, including acupuncture, TCM, Ayurveda, herbal medicine and others, in China, Sri Lanka, Thailand, India, USA and the UK.
This led to pioneering work on raw food feeding and supplementation, as a means of transforming quality of life in pets, which was introduced into his veterinary clinic.
Dr. Vince to date has successfully helped close on 100,000 dogs and cats in a career currently spanning 40 years.
Vince the Vet was established to provide pet parents with the life-changing nutritional products that Dr. Vince still uses today to ensure that each dog and cat can receive the natural nutrition necessary for them to live life to the full, and love being alive.
Spring water and alcohol (25%) plus extracts of Glycyrrhiza, Passiflora, Rubus idaeus, Valeriana officinalis and Zingiberis
Precautions
Store in a cool, dark place away from strong odours.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
To be used as a dietary supplement and not as a substitute for appropriate veterinary care where necessary.
Directions
Give 2 - 3 drops on a morsel of food hourly, or as often as needed before, during and after a journey, to ease stress and restore calm.
Increase this to hourly dosing (more frequently if necessary), during a journey as necessary, for maximum comfort.
Also add a little to your pet’s drinking water, and sprinkle on their bedding, and in the immediate surroundings. Another option is to add several drops to a small spray bottle containing spring water, shaken well and sprayed into the air around your pet and on their bedding
Continue for as long as necessary.
NOTE:
These steps are best repeated every time a journey is undertaken, for as long as needed.
The aim is to naturally calm and reduce the intensity of Fight / Flight reactions over time, until a pet feels safe and secure when in a moving car, train, boat etc. and unpleasant reactions to motion (salivation, queasiness etc) are no longer triggered.
Depending on how sensitive a pet is to travelling, this period of desensitisation can vary from several weeks to 6 months or more.
As with all behavioural reconditioning, patience, reassurance and repetition are key for success.
