4-Legger
4Legger is an American Company that was set up by a woman who lost her dog to cancer. It is an astonishing fact that nearly 50% of dogs die from cancer and 95% of dog cancers are due to lifestyle and environmental factors. It was that statistic was the motivation behind 4-Legger.

4Legger developed the world's first aloe based USDA Organic Dog Shampoo because they wanted pet parents to see their products were truly all natural, safe and non-toxic.

The ingredients are carefully selected for sustainability, ethical harvesting/growing practices i.e. how the ingredients are grown, harvested, processed, transported, packaged, and shipped.

All of their products are made in the USA in small batches to ensure quality.

Certified organic dog grooming products also verify that there are no GMO ingredients, no pesticides, herbicides, artificial colors, or artificial fragrance.

Only truly natural ingredients go in the bottle and of course on your dog! Be part of the 4-Legger's pet family!

a Dog Person
At a Dog Person, they believe our dogs deserve nothing but the best.

Their journey began with their beloved Teddy. He inspired them to create something special after experiencing common health issues like skin allergies and a problematic gut that couldn't be properly diagnosed. The frustration of not understanding Teddy's needs, coupled with the overwhelming costs of vets, added to their struggle. Teddy sadly crossed the rainbow bridge much earlier than expected, which ignited a fire within them to develop products that genuinely improve the health and happiness of dogs everywhere.

Adios Plastic
Adios Plastic is committed to reducing the 8 million tons of plastic that end up in our oceans every year. By offering plastic free alternative products.

Ben the founder of Adios Plastic had the idea for Adios Plastic originally in 2017 after he became aware of the devastating effects that plastic was having on the environment. Ben wanted to do something to help, but wasn’t sure what. He made changes in his life right away to reduce his single use plastic consumption. But he wanted to do more, a lot more and since he loves animals, he thought that producing something plastic free for pets would be great!

After months of research, Ben learnt that almost all dog poo bags on the market are not as eco friendly as they claim. Companies were, and still are green washing customers using clever marketing techniques.

Adios Plastic is a sustainability-led pet care brand on a mission to eliminate misleading “eco” claims and reduce plastic pollution caused by dog waste bags. Adios champions certified compostable dog poo bags made from plant-based materials that are designed to break down naturally without leaving toxic residue behind. Focused on transparency, environmental responsibility, and practical everyday solutions, Adios Plastic helps dog owners make genuinely greener choices without compromising convenience

Apawtiser
Apawtiser make tasty handmade, hypoallergenic dog treats suitable for dogs with food intolerances. Free from common canine allergens.

Apawtiser Dog treats came about as a result of their cocker spaniel, Mac who had a very sensitive tummy with many food intolerances. This led them to develop their own range of dog treats which were more suited to sensitive tummies.

Apawtiser dog treats are the result of over two years of product development and testing. These dog treats are not only hypoallergenic but also offer a good shelf life.

The absence of any animal products allows dogs with any animal protein sensitivities to enjoy a tasty treat. The plant based proteins in Apawtiser treats are some of the least likely to cause allergic reactions in dogs. They use a variety of flours to provide a whole host of flavours whilst avoiding wheat which is a common allergen.

The ingredients used are all-natural and high-quality; free from artificial colourings, flavourings and preservatives; for example their peanut butter is hand-made and only contains peanuts.

Barney's Biscuit Boxes
The story of Barney’s Biscuit Boxes started with Barney, their rescue Labrador cross, born on a puppy farm, but saved, and found his forever home with them.

Barney inspired us to create our first product in 2014 which was an advent calendar for dogs - a different treat every day of advent for your dog, from some of the best known brands in the market producing high quality dog treats. In 2017 Barney developed a food allergy and the journey to find the tastiest, most nutritious, and allergen free food and treats began – with the additional challenge of being able to satisfy the notorious food vacuum that is the Labrador (and make him chew!). They researched and found a leading dog nutritionist (one who was ambitious and excited to work with them) and with fresh ingredients (which isn’t usually done as ‘that’s not how it’s done’, ‘fresh ingredients make it too difficult to create a repeatable product’’). The testing process was long, detailed and challenging, but ultimately very successful and Barney’s own biscuits were born.

Barney's Biscuits:

Use the highest quality ingredients, British where at all possible

100% natural food at all times

No meal, no derivatives

No preservatives and no additives

No salt, no sugar

Environmentally friendly

Hand-made = hand rolled, hand cut, hand baked, hand packed

Healthy dog treats made from fruit, vegetables and meat

BioPreparation
BioPreparation formulas (BioSuperfood for humans) are whole food products and not just supplements. They are whole foods formulated to nourish, energise and balance the entire body instead of simply targeting the symptoms of disease and imbalance.

Bio-Algae Concentrates (BAC) is a complete, balanced and synergistic whole food composed of microalgae based ingredients. BAC has a completeness, balance and synergy that is not possible in any single algae or other food supplement. The result is a more powerful, rejuvenating, healing and nourishing effect on the body and brain.

The algae in Bio-Algae Concentrates (BAC) are carefully grown and harvested in a hydroponic pure environment, protected from pollutants, guaranteed free of herbicides and pesticides, blended, encapsulated and bottled under strict quality control.

The algae are protected with a proprietary freeze-drying technology that fully preserves the nutrients. Importantly, the concentration of the algae is achieved through the use of specifically developed proprietary techniques that result from 20,000 man hours of research in the former USSR.

As it is a natural product concentrations will vary slightly but in terms of anti-oxidants the F1k formulation is about 20 times as concentrated, the F2k formulation about 100 times and the F3k formulation about 500 times as concentrated as normal algae. Each production is analysed and checked for pesticides, herbicides, mercury, lead, bacteria, parasites, and other pollutants.

Rachel started Boil and Broth back in 2018 after seeing the demand for the products she was making. Rachel herself had health issues and she researched a lot about her condition and finally developed her own diet, as well as making broth and kefir water to help. Within 12 weeks she had reversed her condition.

Rachel has grown her small family business from selling a few orders a week to establishing a great business on a private farm selling her products to people all over the country, including the pet side of the business.

Sustainability: Boil and Broth are passionate about their environment too which is why they are working hard to be as sustainable as possible. They also believe in encouraging others to do the same - what’s good for our planet has to be good for us too.

Packaging: Their plastic bottles are made from recycled plastic and can also be put in the recycling bin when you have used them. In the coming months, they will be transitioning their pouches to recyclable pouches. You will be able to recycle these pouches at your local supermarkets.

Ingredients: Boil & Broth use bones from animals that would otherwise go to landfill. Our apples, for apple cider vinegar, are sourced from local orchards – often apples go to waste.

"Can it be used every day?" For most dogs, yes. Furr Boost is designed for regular use, whether daily or a few times a week, depending on your dog’s size, needs and routine. Furr Boost was designed to be flexible, just like modern feeding routines.

Here’s how most owners use it with confidence:

As a drink - Served straight or diluted with water to support hydration, often once a day, especially for fussy drinkers or active dogs.

As a food topper - A small splash over dry, raw or mixed meals to: • enhance flavour, • add moisture, • encourage appetite

As enrichment - Used in small amounts on lick mats or frozen for calm, functional enrichment.

Phoebe's Story : "My Hoo-mum, who worked in the food industry for 20 years, created this well-being drink for me as part of a discovery journey into cleaner, no junk foods for me. Even though she said I was Paw-fect before, she wanted to ensure that I stayed hydrated with a natural ingredient drink, as a refreshing complement to my water, which is always readily available.

Since my Hoo-mum is a food scientist she couldn’t help but review the labels on the packs of the food she was buying and wanted to make sure that I got the best out of the nutrition she fed me and as a busy Beagle, I needed lots of energy for all that wandering and sniffing.

I really look forward to my tasty treat, which can be given daily and is now made available for all dogs like yours. I hope they enjoy it as much as I do!"

Gold Standard Herbs
The idea for Gold Standard Herbs came from Dr. Steve Marsden, one of the world's foremost holistic veterinarians. He is a conventionally trained veterinarian who went on to become a naturopathic physician and board-certified Chinese medical practitioner for humans. He adapted his human medical experience to animals, becoming one of the pioneers of American holistic veterinary medicine in the process.

If you Google Dr. Marsden, you'll see over the next twenty five years that he went on to receive several awards, lecture at hundreds of veterinary colleges and conventions on five continents, write or contribute to numerous textbooks and articles, co-found CIVT (a distance learning college for vets), and start Natural Path Herb Company, to ensure the vets he was teaching had access to high quality herbal supplements.

One lesson he learned in his career is that when the right herbs are paired with a real food diet, beautiful things happen. He also learned it often takes a skilled holistic veterinarian to figure that combination out.

Another thing he noticed, though, is that at least for some conditions, he always found himself reaching for the same formulas. These specific formulas have proven their safety and worth through hundreds or even thousands of years of human use. Why not offer them directly to the public to eliminate what suffering we can in their pets?

Dr. Marsden gave us those formulas and guided us as we tested and improved upon them over the next couple of years, putting them to work for heroic organizations dedicated to improving the lives of animals.

The end result of all this work is finally available for you to try! Gold Standard Herb formulas go well beyond run-of-the-mill supplements, because no other products on the store shelves have these ingredients.

Karnlea
Karnlea Bone Broth is the UK and Ireland’s first 100% natural, packed from fresh bone broth that can be kept in your cupboard and is the brainchild of Lara McCullough, a pet lover from Northern Ireland, the first Karnlea Bone Broth samples landed in September 2021.

Lara has been in the pet industry for the last 15 years and she has an almost obsessive interest in the health of animals.

The Story Behind Our Bone Broth

From kitchen to counter…Karnlea founder Lara McCullough reveals how the need to combine nutrition and convenience led to a pet product revolution.

“For several years now, every time we had a Sunday roast, I would painstakingly make bone broth for my two dogs. This was a lengthy and often messy process, and despite my enthusiasm to feed bone broth (and my dogs’ obsession with it) I found it not always practical to make. I would make as much as I could at a time, so I needed to find fridge space – or freezer space – I didn’t really like the smell around the kitchen for the long periods it took to cook, and frankly sometimes it was just time consuming when I had a very busy life and was tired. I also found that on occasions that I really wanted or needed to have some available, those were the times there wasn’t any in the freezer, or I’d have to wait for one to defrost!

The only bone broth that I could find commercially for pets was frozen, and whilst I tried some excellent products, it still took up freezer space and just wasn’t as convenient as I wanted. I found myself searching for something that I could have in the cupboard to call on as needed, but despite all my searches, I just couldn’t find one. That was it, I had to produce my own! I looked at many ways to produce a shelf stable broth. I didn’t want a powder or concentrate, which had gone through a lot of processing, losing a lot of its goodness and taste in the manufacture, so after a lot of searching and research the idea for Karnlea bone broth was born. A packed from fresh, 100% natural, highly nutritious broth with super high amounts of collagen.”

Creating a Green Paw Print
Right from the start, it was important that Karnlea had the right credentials, both in their ethically and sustainable sourced produce and in the product packaging. Karnlea bone broth is produced from antibiotic and hormone-free grass-fed animals from co-operative farms.

The packaging is 100% recyclable and plastic free. Yes that’s right, the spout isn’t plastic, it’s actually made from a sugar cane product! The paperboard comes from sustainable forests, and the “brick” shape of our cartons makes for a lower carbon footprint – they fit neatly into boxes for dispatch.

Once opened, the broth should then be treated exactly like the fresh product that was packed. Pop the handy carton in the fridge for up to five days (where it will turn to a thick delicious jelly your pets will go mad for), or if you prefer, pour into cute bone or paw shaped ice cube trays to portion out for future use. To reuse, either feed frozen, chilled, or gently warmed back to a liquid form.

A simple and easy way to supplement your pet’s diet with a nutritious, collagen and amino acid rich superfood. It’s your new store cupboard essential!

Not sure which products might suit your pet best? Check out our guide to the Karnlea bone broth and supplement range!

Koru was given teaspoon of Kōrure Marine Phospholipid Powder morning and night. Koru's mobility improved week by week and after two months, she was able to run around and play with her friends like normal.

Life of Riley Pet Bakery
At Life of Riley, they really do know how important it is to know exactly what ingredients are in the foods you give your pets.

Recently Riley (aka Riley Roo) was rushed to the vets after he started behaving strangely all of a sudden. Many examinations and tests later, Riley's vet diagnosed him with quite severe food intolerance to many food groups (including pork, beef, rabbit & eggs to name a few). Although relieved it was an allergy issue and nothing more serious, this was a huge surprise and came completely out the blue.

Riley's vet stressed the fact that if these allergies were ignored, Riley could become seriously ill, and after research they learnt that his organs would slowly deteriorate overtime, weakening his immune system. We then found that many of the treats Riley had been given were full of nasty ingredients. It then dawned on them that it was the 'treats' that they had been giving him that were making him poorly!

From this the Life of Riley – Pet Bakery & Boutique was born! They now strive to provide all dogs with healthy, gluten free tasty treats, cakes and even doggie carob truffles as why should they lose out after all!

We keep the amount of ingredients to a minimum, carefully selecting for a healthy balance of flavour and luxury, we do not use any preservatives and all our flavours and colours are natural and dog friendly.

Merlins
The story of Merlins began with founder, Josh, and his two beloved childhood cats, Socks and Tigger. Unfortunately, both cats faced health issues due to their diet. Tigger suffered from kidney failure-a common issue affecting 30-40% of cats over 10 years old and 81% of cats over 15. Socks, a natural hunter, often avoided her store-bought food, leading to tragic complications from consuming wild prey.

Josh, always passionate about health and fitness, realised that if supplements could enhance human health, they could surely benefit our feline friends too.

Driven by this idea, he embarked on a journey of research and testing, ultimately discovering the benefits of freeze dried salmon powder. This single-ingredient product not only supports a cat's health but also appeals to their taste buds, making it an ideal solution for picky eaters as well as boosting their skin and coat health and battling joint inflammation.

Today, Merlins stands as a testament to Josh's dedication and love for cats. Leading the way to a new era of healthy cats is Josh's current feline companion, Merlin, who inspires them every day to create products that help cats live healthier, happier lives.

PetBiome
PetBiome was the first companion animal dedicated laboratory service in the UK, established in 2018, using the latest MiSeq NGS technology to produce a detailed report of the internal microbial community and how the microbes link to health and disease in the dog and cat.

PetBiome is made up of a team of highly qualified biochemists, microbiologists, and geneticists, who have been working together in the field since 2014. PetBiome are here for the long term - they say "it’s a fantastic time to be in microbiology, the tools and access to new science is mind-boggling, hope to take you with us on the journey!"

PetBiome have also bought out a range of supplements to correct specific imbalances following the completion of one of their tests.

The Microbiome Test Kit

Find out what’s going on inside your pets gut - PetBiome recommend that you get your pet tested first so that they can give the best advise so that your pet can get back to health! Take their gut Microbiome Test for pets with gastric symptoms, itchiness, food sensitivities, allergies and bad breath.

The report will show:

The PetBiome Report interprets DNA sequencing data from your pet’s microbiome sample. It identifies the different microbes in the gut, including beneficial bacteria, those that don’t contribute much, and potentially harmful ones and explains what each group does.

The results give you insights into how your pet’s gut microbes may be affecting important aspects of health:

Digestive health: Helps explain symptoms like diarrhoea, constipation, bloating, or food sensitivities.

Immune system: Shows whether the microbiome supports immune function or may be linked to infection or inflammation.

Behaviour & mood: Through the gut–brain axis, imbalances can sometimes relate to stress, anxiety, or behavioural issues.

The report is designed to:

Provide a gentle, science-based diagnosis rather than just symptom-based guesswork

Spot early signs of long-term health issues, like inflammation or metabolic problems.

Help customise nutrition, supplements, or lifestyle changes to better support your pet’s health.

PetBiome Supplements

Their range of supplements have been designed to correct specific imbalances, following a test. AMR, Biotic Boost and Anti-microbic should only be used after doing the microbiome test, as without data it is guesswork. Maintenance and Prebiotic can be used for on-going gut support and can be used for those customers who have not done the test.

The microbiome report is the starting point, but the dog’s response is ultimately the most important guide, which will determine what support is needed longer term. PetBiome always balance what the data suggests with what they see clinically in the dog
PetNat / Aromesse

The Green Poop Bag
The Green Poop Bag Company came about after when Denise (proud human mum to an incredible German Shepherd, Ebi) thought she was being responsible by picking up after her pooch. Yet what was happening, in reality, was that she was preserving the poop by wrapping it in plastic for it to take hundreds of years to decompose! As an earth fan, she wanted to make amends, so after a discussion with other dog lovers, she set about creating compostable poop bags, whcih will decompose after 3 – 6 months, with ZERO harmful traces and this lead to the GREEN POOP BAG. Sadly Ebi passed, but her legacy lives on in a healthier planet and nature preserved (for many walks to come).

The Green Poop Bags are:

THE BEST CHOICE FOR PLANET - Made from unique sugar and corn starch blend, they are naturally biodegradable, EU certified and tested to decompose within 3-6 months (even in home compost!) Making them the best environmentally friendly poo bag available. Specially designed for dog and cat owners to make the stinky job easier and Mother Earth happier! Vince the Vet
Vince McNally graduated as a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) in 1983 from Liverpool University and went to work for the PDSA in Manchester where he gained invaluable clinical experience treating a wide range of conditions in many different types of pets.

Towards the end of 1986 an unmissable opportunity arose to establish his own practice and he founded The Albany Veterinary Clinic in Stockport. Over the next 14 years it grew to become a centre of excellence where pets received the very best treatment available, with the utmost kindness and care.

From the mid nineties onwards, Vince became increasingly frustrated by the inability of conventional veterinary medicine to really help many of the animals under his care. This led to the study of a wide range of complementary therapies, including acupuncture, nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, flower essences, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Ayurveda and various energy practices in the UK, USA, Thailand, India and elsewhere.

In 1998 he gained the VetMFHom homeopathy qualification after studying at the Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital, the London School of Homeopathy and with the Homeopathic Physicians Teaching Group in Oxford for 3 years. In the years that followed Vince has seen the lives of countless dogs and cats improved (in many cases beyond all expectations) as a result of holistic treatment, which combined dietary changes, natural supplements and homeopathic remedies.

These success stories and an undimmed passion for helping as many pets as possible live the healthiest and happiest of lives, led to the launch of Vince the Vet Superfood - a unique range of clinically proven, natural supplements and raw food which is specially formulated to promote the very best of health.

Waita Pets

The range includes freeze-dried treats, complete foods and meal toppers, with plenty of single-protein options including chicken, duck, quail, beef, salmon and other fish. Their treats are made with 100% natural ingredients, without unnecessary fillers or additives.

Freeze-drying uses very low temperatures rather than cooking with heat, helping to retain the natural flavour and nutritional value of the original ingredients. It also creates lightweight, shelf-stable foods that are convenient for feeding at home, using as training rewards or taking on the go. Waita also microbiologically tests each batch of its freeze-dried food.

Simple ingredients, minimal processing and plenty of choice make Waita Pets a particularly appealing range for owners looking for natural treats and convenient alternatives to more heavily processed pet foods.

Arnica
Arnica is a perennial herb in the daisy family, which flowers June to August. Arnica is used externally (but not on broken skin) to promote healing and to help with bruising, or given orally as a homeopathic remedy.

Arnica is useful for soreness and bruising, especially if this is mainly felt in the muscles and softer tissues of the body.

Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a traditional adaptogenic herb that has been used for centuries to support resilience, vitality and overall wellbeing. Adaptogens work by helping the body maintain balance during periods of physical and emotional stress, supporting a healthy stress response without causing sedation.

In pets, ashwagandha is often used to promote calm behaviour, support emotional wellbeing and help maintain healthy energy levels. It may also provide support for cognitive function, immune health and mobility, making it a popular choice for senior pets and those experiencing environmental or lifestyle-related stress. You'll find ashwagandha as a key ingredient in many natural calming supplements for dogs.

Whether used as daily support for an anxious pet, or during challenging periods such as travel, changes in routine or fireworks season, ashwagandha can be a valuable addition to your pet's routine.

Astaxanthin
Astaxanthin is a member of the carotenoid family and a powerful antioxidant. Astaxanthin helps protect cells, organs, and tissues from oxidative damage, even in places like your pet’s eyes, spinal cord, brain, and nerves. Provides the immune system with the support that it needs.
Boswellia
Boswellia serrata, also known as Indian frankincense, is a tree native to India and surrounding regions. Its aromatic resin has been used for thousands of years in traditional Ayurvedic medicine and is particularly valued for its natural anti-inflammatory properties.

The resin contains a group of active compounds known as boswellic acids, including AKBA (acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic acid). These compounds have been widely studied for their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and immune-modulating properties. AKBA is of particular interest because of its ability to influence 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX), an enzyme involved in the body's inflammatory pathways.

Benefits of Boswellia for Dogs

Boswellia is perhaps best known for supporting joint health and mobility, and can be used to soothe sore, stiff joints and muscles,. Research in dogs with degenerative joint and spinal conditions has reported improvements in signs such as stiffness, discomfort and lameness following supplementation with Boswellia serrata extract.

This natural supplement also synergises with turmeric, and works well alongside glucosamine and chondroitin to support connective tissue and joint health.

However, the potential benefits of Boswellia extend beyond the joints. Research into boswellic acids suggests they may also help to:

Provide antioxidant support – helping protect cells against oxidative stress.

Support brain and cognitive health – boswellic acids are being investigated for their neuroprotective properties and their role in healthy ageing.

Support digestive and gut health – research suggests Boswellia may help maintain intestinal barrier integrity and influence the composition of the gut microbiome.

Support normal liver function – its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties have been studied in relation to maintaining healthy liver function.

Support a balanced immune response – boswellic acids may help regulate certain immune pathways and support normal immune function.

Support a healthy inflammatory response – helping to maintain comfort and mobility, particularly in older or active dogs.

Boswellia is therefore a useful botanical ingredient not only for joint and mobility supplements, but also as part of a wider approach to supporting healthy ageing, antioxidant defences and general wellbeing in dogs.

Clay
Clay has long been used in natural pet care to support health from the inside out. Rich in naturally occurring minerals, clays such as green clay, Montmorillonite clay and bentonite clay are valued for their absorbent properties and versatility, making them popular ingredients in both digestive supplements and topical skin care products.

When used internally, clay may help support normal digestive function and maintain a healthy gut environment. Applied externally, clay powders and poultices can be used to soothe irritated skin, absorb excess moisture and support the skin's natural healing processes.

Our range includes both collagen supplements, naturally collagen-rich bone broths and collagen treats, making it easy to provide this important nutrient in a format that suits your pet's needs.

Colloidal Silver
Colloidal Silver is a solution containing tiny silver particles suspended in deionised water. It has been used for many years and is valued for its anti-viral, anti-fungal, natural antibiotic, and anti-microbial properties, making it a useful addition to a pet first-aid kit.

When applied externally, colloidal silver can help support good skin hygiene; supporting the skin's natural barrier and maintain a clean environment while the skin recovers. It is commonly used on minor cuts, scrapes, abrasions and irritated skin, helping to support healthy skin recovery, as well as around the eyes and outer ears as part of a gentle cleansing routine when appropriate.

Colloidal silver is available in different strengths, most commonly 10ppm and 20ppm, where ppm stands for parts per million and refers to the concentration of silver particles in the solution.

A 10ppm solution is a popular choice for everyday topical use and routine skin care, while 20ppm contains twice the concentration of silver particles and may be preferred by some owners when a stronger concentration is desired. Both strengths are intended for external use, and the most appropriate option will depend on the product and its intended application. Always follow the manufacturer's directions for use.

We sell a range of colloiodal silver options including liquids - varies sizes and strengths, gel, cream, serum, as well as specifically formulated products to support eye and ear health in both cats and dogs. A recent addition to the Natures Greatest Secret range is a toothpaste.

CoQ10 is also found naturally in foods such as organ meats such as the heart — a concentrated source of this supernutrient!
Dandelion
Dandelion for dogs and cats

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) may be a familiar sight in gardens and hedgerows, but this nutrient-rich plant has a long history of traditional use in herbal medicine. Both the root and leaves are used, providing naturally occurring plant compounds including flavonoids, phenolic compounds and carotenoids, alongside vitamins and minerals.

Dandelion is particularly valued for its traditional role in supporting the liver, kidneys and digestive system. Dandelion root is commonly included in herbal formulas designed to support normal liver function, bile flow and digestion, while the leaves have traditionally been used for their gentle diuretic properties, supporting normal urinary and kidney function.

What are the benefits of dandelion for dogs and cats?

Dandelion is a versatile herb and is often combined with other botanicals such as milk thistle, artichoke and nettle to provide complementary nutritional and herbal support.

Dandelion may help to:

Support normal liver function and the body's natural detoxification processes

Support healthy digestion and bile production

Support normal kidney and urinary function

Provide natural antioxidant plant compounds

Support normal fluid balance

Provide additional nutritional support as part of a varied, balanced diet

Dandelion and liver support

The liver plays an important role in processing nutrients, metabolising substances and removing waste products from the body. Dandelion root is traditionally used as a bitter digestive herb and is often included in liver-support formulas alongside herbs such as milk thistle and artichoke.

Its naturally occurring bitter compounds can help support digestive secretions and normal bile flow, linking dandelion's traditional digestive use closely with liver and gallbladder function.

Dandelion leaf and kidney & urinary support

Dandelion leaf has traditionally been used as a gentle diuretic, helping to support normal urine production and fluid balance. Unlike many conventional diuretics, dandelion itself is naturally rich in potassium. This makes the leaf a popular ingredient in herbal blends formulated to support the kidneys and urinary system.

Dandelion and digestive health

Dandelion's bitter plant compounds can also help support normal digestive processes. For this reason, you'll find dandelion included in several of our digestive and gut-support supplements, often alongside other herbs and nutrients chosen to provide broader digestive support.

Our range includes natural supplements containing dandelion for dogs and cats, with formulations designed to support areas including liver and kidney function, digestion, urinary health and general wellbeing.

As with any herbal supplement, always follow the individual product's feeding instructions. If your pet has an existing medical condition, is taking medication or is under veterinary supervision, seek veterinary advice before introducing a new supplement.
Digestive Enzymes
Digestive enzymes are naturally produced by the pancreas and play an essential role in breaking down proteins, fats and carbohydrates so they can be absorbed and used by the body. Healthy enzyme production supports efficient digestion, nutrient absorption and overall digestive health.

While most pets produce sufficient digestive enzymes naturally, some may benefit from additional enzyme support. This can be particularly helpful for pets with digestive sensitivities, reduced enzyme production or those needing extra digestive support to get the most from their diet.

Our range includes digestive enzyme supplements for both dogs and cats, including standalone enzyme supplements and comprehensive probiotic blends, helping to support healthy digestion and gastrointestinal function.

Together, prebiotics and probiotics help restore balance in the digestive tract, support healthy gut motility, and can be especially beneficial during times of stress, illness, dietary change, or after antibiotics.

For pets, probiotics are particularly important in managing digestive issues, improving nutrient absorption, and enhancing overall well-being. Regular use of probiotics can help maintain a healthy gut, reduce symptoms of allergies, and alleviate digestive upset like diarrhea.

Choosing the right probiotic for your pet can feel overwhelming. Our general guide explains what to look for when selecting a probiotic, while our brand-specific guides to Four Leaf Rover and Adored Beast probiotics help you decide which range is best suited to your pet's needs.

Psyllium is a safe, natural source of soluble fibre used to support healthy digestion and regular bowel movements in dogs and cats. Suitable to be added to raw, cooked and kibble diets, psyllium absorbs water within the digestive tract, adding bulk to stools and forming a soothing gel. This can help to regulate stool consistency, alleviate constipation and diarrhea, support anal gland issues, and promote overall gut health.

There are two main forms of psyllium: psyllium husks and whole psyllium seed.

Psyllium Husks: Psyllium husks are the outer layer of the seed and contain a highly concentrated source of soluble fibre. They are commonly used to support firm stools, digestive regularity, anal gland health and healthy gut motility.

Some Slippery Elm products can be added directly to food, while others are prepared with water before use; such as AniForte recommends mixing its Slippery Elm Bark Powder with water, briefly heating and then allowing it to cool before feeding. This pre-hydrates the slippery elm, allowing the mucilage to form before it is given, rather than relying on the powder to absorb moisture and form its gel-like consistency after it has been eaten.

Traditionally used as a soothing demulcent, Slippery Elm can be particularly useful for dogs and cats with sensitive stomachs or during periods of occasional digestive upset. Changes in food, travel, changes in routine and periods of stress can all temporarily affect normal digestion and stool consistency.

Slippery Elm can also be used alongside a probiotic supplement for pets as part of a broader approach to supporting digestive and gut health. Persistent or severe digestive problems, including diarrhoea or vomiting, should always be discussed with your vet.

Support energy levels and vitality

Maintain a healthy nervous system

Aid digestion and nutrient absorption

Promote healthy skin and coat condition
