Albert Squirrel Monkey - squirrel monkeys have proportionally the largest brain of any primates - so your dog will have to work hard to outsmart Albert! Albert’s not just smart, he’s handsome too, and his long legs and tail are perfect for tossing and tugging.

Albert Squirrel Monkey is brown and white and is part of their Large Sized toy range, measuring 15" / 38cm in length. Contains a squeaker - long lasting, encased in sewn fabric pouches.

Each toy comes with a high quality hang-tag with a brief description of the design you have chosen.

Play Style: Tug

What makes the Fluff & Tuff brand unique is the following, as each toy is made from:-

  • Superior, ultra-plush outer fabric for maximum snuggle-ability
  • Thick, durable Tuffweb™ mesh liner to reinforce the outer fabric- not indestructable but thick and long lasting
  • Generously folded, double stitched seams which are concealed and durable
  • Non-toxic polyester fill placed for optimal shaping and play-ability
  • Embroidered eyes - sewn on for safety
  • Safety Tested - made to the same rigourous standards as children's plush toys
  • Machine-washable - because playtime sometimes gets dirty!

No Plush Toy Is Indestructible - Not Even Fluff & Tuff

Fluff & Tuff's goal is simply to combine superior quality materials with proven construction specifications to create the most durable plush toy for your dog to have fun with. That being said, these toys are not guaranteed.  There is a section to help guide, educate and bring awareness on purchasing the best toy that fits a dog's personality. Fluff & Tuff's toys are premium, unique, and safe and they hope you and your dog love them.

Play Safe

Always supervise your dog’s play time. While these toys are made with high quality materials to be more durable, they are still plush toys – not chew toys – and therefore are not indestructible.

All Fluff & Tuff toys meet the same strict standards set for manufacturing children’s plush toys in the United States, including: ASTM F963-11 (Standard Consumer Safety Specs for Toy Safety), testing for lead and Phthalates, and double scanning for foreign or metal objects.

How To Pick A Toy

Picking the best new bestie

Just like people, dogs are unique and have preferences when it comes to playtime. Remember, these toys are durable, but NOT indestructible. Fluff & Tuff want all dogs to be happy with their toys and it's okay if Fluff & Tuff is not the best choice for your dog. Below are some things to think about when picking out the best toy for your pup.

We realise that there are always exceptions to the "rule" - a big dog may love carrying around an extra small Cubby Bear or a dog that loves to play fetch with Sadie Bear. This is more of a starting point to figure out what toy your dog likes to play with and - hopefully - avoid a fluff-pocalypse all over your family room.

SIZE - How big is your dog?

Most dogs like a toy they can carry in their mouths. Look for toys that your dog can easily carry based on their size. Sadie Bear will be too big for a toy-sized dog; likewise, Cubby Bear may not be appealing to larger breeds.

AGE - How old is your dog?

Tiny puppies love to chew, and balls may be a good choice for them. Older dogs may have a little less energy, and be more inclined to snuggle.

OTHER - What are your dog's preferences?

From favourite animals to favorite colours to squeakerless options, anything can influence your preferred toys for your dog. While YOU may love flamingos, your dog may love to tug and rip Lola Flamingos' legs right off! You know your dog best and use your past experience to determine what will be a good fit.

PLAY STYLE - How does your dog like to play?

Fluff & Tuff call this a dog's play style. Think about how your dog plays and pick a toy that corresponds to their preferred play style. Remember, many toys suit many play styles. Here are our top play style categories:

Shake: Pick toys with long legs and tails. A toy that is not as firm may also be satisfying. A dog who loves to shake enjoys feeling the toy being easily swung around while in their mouth.

Examples include: Marge Cow, Anderson Fox, Petey Pig, Ike Pheasant, Marcel Monkey, Nelly Giraffe, Squirt, Olympia and Stevie and Octopuses.

Fetch: Think about toys that is easy for you - or other humans - to throw and for dogs to pick up and run with. Balls are the classic solution, but many other round or long, firm toys may also fit the bill for your furry friend.

Examples include: Jessica Bunny, Petey Pig, Shaggy Highland Cow, Cubby Bear and Anderson Fox, Morley Mallard, Marcel Monkey, Leo Lion, Squirt Octopus and Burt Lake Trout.

Snuggle: Look for toys with rounder, firm bodies like a pillow. With snugglers, the size of the toy may not matter as much to a dog. All of the Fluff & Tuff  toys feature premium plush that is perfect for a cozy snuggle.

Examples include: Shaggy Highland Cow, Sadie Bear, Mr Honey Bear, Lobo Wolf, Steve Octopus, Big Daddy Gater.

Tug: For dogs who love to tug, especially with a human or another dog, look for toys with long, firm bodies. You'll want to pick a toy that will withstand a good game of tug-o-war - so something that is really durable enough for your pup.

Examples include: Reece Rabbit, Walter Rabbit, Petey Pig, Hendrix Fox, Shaggy Highland Cow, Albert Monkey, Marcel Monkey and Stevie Octopus.

Chew: Dogs who love to chew may enjoy our balls or rounder toys without any limbs or appendages. Aggressive chewers may not be a good match with a plush toy - and that's okay!
