This product comes in four different weight based strengths (see below).
The Endocannabinoid System: All pets have an endocannabinoid system which is responsible for regulating homeostasis throughout their body. It interacts with their nervous, immune, and other systems in their body to help them feel their best. The active ingredient in Hemp4Tails' tinctures can help to increase the effectiveness of their endocannabinoid system, which in turn can help relieve their discomfort, anxiety and more.
Just like their personalities, all pets endocannabinoid systems are different, so finding the right amount to give for your pet can take some trial and error. To make it easier, Hemp4Tails have created specific strengths based on your pet’s body weight to help you find the right amount for them. However, sometimes dogs will need more than what is stated here.

How to know how much your pet will need
Finding the correct amount to give your pet doesn’t need to be confusing. There are two main factors to consider when finding the correct amount for your furry best friend. One is your pet’s weight, and the other is why you need feel this product will help. For most things you will be able to give your pet based off of these weight-based formulas, but on occasions you may want to consider giving them a higher strength formula than their weight class.
All of the products are non-psychoactive and will cause no harm to your pet even if you need to give them more than the recommended amount.
Formulas based on your pet’s weight
There are four different weight-based strengths: Small Breed (25lbs [11.33kg] or less), Medium Breed (25-60lbs [11.33 - 27.21kg]), Large Breed (60-100lbs [27.21-45.35kg), and Extra Large Breed (100lbs+ [45.35kg]).
With all of these formulas, Hemp4Tails recommend starting with 0.5ml twice a day and then adjusting the amount if desired results are not achieved within a week. To increase your pet’s amount to give Hemp4Tails recommend increasing by 0.25ml (per amount) every 3 days until desired results are achieved.
When to buy outside of our recommended weight range
If your pet is bordering on the high end of the weight range, Hemp4Tails recommend going up to the next size but starting your pet on a half amount of 0.25ml twice a day. That way, if they happen to need the strength of the next breed size up you’re not having to increase their amount to match the strength of the next breed size.
Hemp4Tails also recommend going up a breed size if you’re giving your pet more than 2ml a day of their current breed size formula.
INGREDIENTS: Organic cold-pressed hemp seed oil, CO₂ extracted hemp terpenes, natural non-GMO vitamin E.
SUGGESTED AMOUNT TO GIVE: 0.5ml twice per day, can increase dosage after one week to 1ml twice a day if desires are not met. Shake well before use. If your pet is on medication, please consult with a veterinarian before use.

Orders over £44.99 (and less than 3.5kg) are sent free of charge using Royal Mail 48 Tracked. There is however the option to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 for £1.49 or use a DPD Courier at £4.99
Orders over £130 will be sent with DPD or Royal Mail Tracked 24 if in the Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland)

Orders over 3.5kg will need to be send with DPD as we are unable to ship heavy items with Royal Mail. DPD will attract an additional shipping charges – see below for more information.

General Rules for DPD
Under normal circumstances, all orders placed before 1.30pm will be dispatched the same working day. Orders placed after 1.30pm will be dispatched on the following working day. Orders placed after 1.30pm on a Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday (or Wednesday for UK special postcodes). This also applies to orders received after 1.30pm on a Thursday.
Saturdays, Sundays and all Bank & Public Holidays are classed as non-working days and orders will be dispatched on the next working day.
Your order will be fully trackable, and you will receive a text and email (if supplied) when your order has been dispatched, and on the day of delivery you will receive an estimated 1-hour delivery window, with alternative options if you are not in.
We reserve the right to switch this service to Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day, in exceptional circumstances.
