Over the last few years, like most businesses, we have experienced significant increases in costs - from rises in gas and electricity prices to packaging costs, to name just a few.
We therefore have no option but to make some changes to our shipping options to reflect the new economic circumstances. These changes will come into effect at Noon, 1st August 2023.
We only charge shipping at cost and we will continue to use Royal Mail's tracked services as many customers like the tracking information associated with this service.
The good news is we have managed to secure cheaper shipping so the cost of sending an item with Royal Mail is now less. We have also added some options to have faster shipping options such as Royal Mail Tracked 24. Unfortunately we will have to increase the cost of free shipping from £39.99 to £44.99
Below is a summary of these changes:
- Orders over £44.99 will attract free shipping
- The cost of Royal Mail Tracked 48 will decrease to £3.49, for orders under £44.99
- All our orders will be sent Royal Mail Tracked 48, but there will be options to upgrade to DPD Next Day service or Royal Mail Tracked 24. If your order is over £44.99, then these options will be subsidised.
- Previously any order over 2kg had to be sent with DPD, incuring an extra cost. Now your order can weigh up to 3.5kg before incurring extra shipping costs
- If you need your orders delivered on a Saturday, the cost of this service has been reduced to £9.99
This is the first time since our launch that we have increased the threshold for free shipping and we have held off as long as we can in doing so.
